Needle Felted Ornaments

Thank you for your interest in my ornaments. These needle-felted ornaments are handmade from US and Australian wool.  As a result, you will find variations in design, color, size, and cost.

The nature of needle felting wool brings a uniqueness to each ornament, so please keep a few things in mind.  These ornaments are not meant to be toys.  The process of needle felting involves poking loose wool fibers until they become a dense fabric-like sculpted ball. As the needle penetrates the wool, the barbs catch the individual fibers and interlock them. Wool strands, not glue, hold together the parts of the ornament, so they should be handled with care, much like glass ornaments. Be aware that the felted surface is susceptible to fading and feathering if over handled or exposed to the sun. The fuzzy appearance of feathering can be lightly shaved or scissored off with care.
